Emma, a 47-year-old fitness instructor, built her career around her active lifestyle. Teaching yoga, pilates and high-intensity interval training was not only her passion but also her livelihood. However, a knee injury during a high-impact workout left her with chronic pain and instability in her left hip.
Despite months of physiotherapy and other non-surgical treatments, Emma’s condition
worsened. She found it increasingly difficult to demonstrate exercises in her classes and
the pain began to affect her mental well-being. Emma knew she needed a long-term
solution to regain her mobility and continue her career.
